It has been established for over twenty years and offers up a wide variety of gaming experiences. It features the $200,000 Pennsylvania Governor's Cup Handicap for horses three years old and up which runs five furlongs on the turf. It is unusual among United States thoroughbred tracks offering racing for fifty-two weeks each year. It consists of a 1 mile (1.6 km) dirt course and a seven-furlong turf course.
